About Our Wisconsin Quilting Retreat

"Where else can you go away for a week or weekend and sleep, shower, have an awesome kitchen, nice living room, and good company in addition to getting to do as much sewing as you possibly can all under one roof?!"
     — Alice Brickl, Wisconsin

"Camp Cotton reminds me of a Lancaster, PA, Bed and Breakfast with all the cozy comforts of home as well as a great work space facility. It is a fabulous place for workshops or retreats."
     — Heidi Thayer, Virginia

"This is by far the absolute best retreat experience we've ever had! Camp Cotton has such a warm, friendly and relaxing atmosphere. The classroom / sewing area is awesome — the lighting is wonderful and there is enough room at all the stations for everyone to sew, cut fabric, etc. and still have enough room to move around. We also enjoyed getting together, eating, and meeting new friends in the comfortable sitting and dining areas at different times throughout the day and night. The girls enjoyed playing their Wii and putting puzzles together after a long day of sewing. The bedrooms were extremely comfortable and relaxing. There was no waiting in line for the bathrooms, and the showers had plenty of hot water and towels.

You have put a lot of time into Camp Cotton and it shows! I can't wait to come back for more classes and meet new friends. Thank you, we truly enjoyed our stay!"

The cozy environment is perfect for quilters, crafters, scrapbookers, family reunions and more. You will be planning your next visit before your stay ends!"

"What a wonderful experience! You will have plenty of time to sew, make new friends with the same interests, eat lots of good food. At night you sew as late as you want then fall into a very comfortable bed. In the morning there are plenty of showers and a constant supply of hot water. To top it off, a quilt shop right across the street! A quilting enthusiast's heaven!"
     — Sheron Elsbury, Indiana

"Well you know I am not a big group person normally, but my experience at Camp Cotton was a tremendously positive one for me. The care with the rooms and atmosphere were thought out in order to provide this experience of home away from home. This was evident everywhere. While I was there I learned a new way of sewing which was just the yummy chocolate icing on the yummy chocolate cake (with a great cup of coffee and laughter to boot!)"
     — Chris Ludwig, Wisconsin

"Every time I think of Camp Cotton, I think of how relaxed and natural everything felt all week. From the arrangements of rooms and bathroom quarters, to the sewing machines and tables, classes, projects and supplies. And then there was the food and shopping at the Quilt Yard! What a perfect week! My one thought when I came home was: 'what happens at Camp Cotton will be stitched throughout the country.'"
     — Linda Newman, New York
